    note that my Hostname is still default which was automatically taken during setup. and now 70 domains are live after I took control of the position. i feel if i change hostname now it may create issues with mail or dns as a lot of activities going on.. hope this isnt the cause of me getting this dns address not found error

    1) Sir the destination wasn't saved as I could not Generate Credentials So i didn't save it. 2) Before posting this New Thread, I had gone through the thread you mentioned. My Error is not the same i am not getting 401 error. My Popup Blocker is also disabled for WHM and Referrer Check is Disabled. Also i have checked the client ID and client secret twice with the new project created in Google Console. i haven't added any spaces. I also tried refreshing many times. 3) I tried save and Validate the destination it says: No credentials have been generated for this transport. The transport will remain inoperable until you generate credentials for it. 4) Do I have to add any A entry for the hostname of server? or any changes in DNS? as mentioned in the bellow URL(outside Cpanel forum) - Removed - 5) Browser Error is stating DNS address could not be found. how do I rectify it?

    First Google Drive link you shared says: Page Deleted A page with this title has been deleted. Contact your space administrator if you would like it restored. I already read this google drive documentation page Google Drive - cPanel Knowledge Base - cPanel Documentation

    9073257 - DNS Error while setting up Google Drive Backup Destination i hope that only the solution will be made public and not other things like my server's IP address or hostname or any other confidential information regarding my server.

    CPanel team also confirmed it was that my hostname was not resolving properly. an issue with A record of the hostname. We have changed the ip address in the record. It will take 24 hours to take effect. So we are waiting...

    Also note that they have created another ticket regarding whm because there isnt any option available to download the whm backup. I want a copy of the whm in my hard disk because In case situation arises I can destroy and rebuild the server then upload the whm backup so i dont need to manually configure everything again. 9076229 - Full WHM Backup Download

    It would be great if someone can post the solution here. It seems I have the same problem as the other two. After generating credentials, a Google permission page popped up, I logged in and gave permission, but then it redirects to an error page that says This site can"t be reached and the "hostname"s server IP address could not be found. I saw above it might be something to do with hostname resolving and A records? What was the exact fix?

    Hello @xylin110, The following issues with the Google Drive backup destination were fixed in cPanel & WHM version 76: [LIST]
  • Fixed case CPANEL-22085: Change Google Drive default timeout to be 30 seconds.
  • Fixed case CPANEL-22270: Fix Google Drive transport form to hide contents of Client Secret. If you're still facing an issue, feel free to open a support ticket so we can take a closer look at your system and open a new case if necessary.
