Change Hostmaster email address?
Hello,
We have WHM server and 2 DNSOnly servers. NS configured under "Home " Clusters " DNS Cluster".
Zone example from DNSOnly server
We have two questions. 1. How we can change current hostmaster address john@default.com to another one? 2. As changind address won't affect existing data (I suppose so) how can we change hostmaster email for existed named/bind zone files? Documentation (Edit Zone Templates - Documentation - cPanel Documentation) says we need to edit %rpemail% variable under "Home " DNS Functions " Edit Zone Templates". So can we just put new email address instead of %rpemail% ? Thank you.

Hello, Yes, you can edit that entry in the zone templates so it uses a specific email address instead of the "%rpemail%" value. As for existing DNS zones, you'd need to edit them on the hosting server using a command line the one referenced on the following thread: Bulk DNS Zone Update Thank you. 0
