Certificate does not match hostname
Hi all,
I'm getting to grips with AutoSSL on a recently upgraded server. We have around 15 customers on this current server at the moment.
Whilst setting up our SSL for our server hostname, after we have installed it on all our WHM services we checked using an SSL testing website to ensure it was valid.
A couple of the checks said that the "Certificate does not match hostname" which is odd. It then says the cert is the AutoSSL cert thats been applied to the first account that we host alphabetically. I'm not sure if I'm missing something obvious here, as we've never had this issue in the past.

Hi, The hostname certificate is different. Do you have any subdomain created similar to the hostname of the server? 0 -
The hostname is a subdomain of my main domains i.e my main website (not hosted on the server) is yourdomain.co.uk My server hostname is server1.yourdomain.co.uk 0 -

Hello, Are you using any custom Apache templates in the /var/cpanel/templates/apache2_4/ directory? Are you able to reproduce the issue outside of that online checker to verify that it's not a false-positive? Thank you.0
