Email logon notification

Hi I was asked to setup a system for the Dovecot email service in Cpanel that would notify the user when there is a logon to the account (to sms or diff account)

  In cPanel, top right corner where username is displayed, open that menu and select Contact Information. There you'll find some options for alerts you might like to know about.

  Hi This will work for cpanel users What about email only users or would i need to create the users as cpanel users is there a log file for the mail login that i can monitor that will return the user and ip address

  Hello, There are no features that will notify you upon individual email account logins, but if you are developing a custom script to do this, then the /var/log/maillog file will include the information you are seeking. Thank you.
