SSL valid for a different domain?
Firefox is showing an error similar to this:
Note: example.com and othersite.com are placeholders only My questions are: 1. What could cause this and how to fix it? 2. How can we completely remove an SSL certificate from a Cpanel account?
---------
example.com uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is only valid for the following names: othersite.com, mail.othersite.com, www.othersite.com

Hello, Do you have root access to this server? If so, are you using the AutoSSL feature (WHM >> Manage AutoSSL)? Thank you. 0 -
Root yes. AutoSSL yes. The person who reported error says, they received a notification that SSL is expiring so they uninstalled it. Then this error appeared. 0 -

AutoSSL should automatically attempt to install a new certificate for the removed domain name during the next check, however feel free to browse to "WHM >> Manage AutoSSL", choose "Manage Users", and click on "Check" for the username of the affected account to see if there are any errors. Thank you.0 -
@cPanelMichael thanks. That appears to solve the issue. 0
