SSL for CNAME?
I have AutoSSL for my site example.com and it's working fine, and it's also correctly working for subdomains I create via cPanel.
Now I use Zendesk and want to use help.example.com instead of datasn.zendesk.com so I followed their instructions by creating a CNAME of help.example.com. (NOT a subdomain but a DNS CNAME) pointing to datasn.zendesk.com
However the SSL doesn't seem to be working for help.example.com at all.
How can I make CNAME also protected by SSL on cPanel so I can use third party services like Zendesk, etc.?

Hello, AutoSSL will only secure domain names that resolve to IP addresses associated with the cPanel server. Since that subdomain resolves to an external IP address (the remote CNAME entry), you can't secure it with the AutoSSL feature. Thank you. 0
