Redirect WebMail to New Server
Hello, so basically we are moving from server1.com to server2.com, but some customers still access there WebMail by www.server1.com:2096 (https WebMail).. How can i redirect [www.server1.com:2096] to [www.server2.com:2096] please ?
Thank you,

if you are done with the migration process you need to make sure that the DNS records are updated and pointing to the new server. You can check it through edit zone in WHM. 0 -

One thing you can do is that you can change the DNS record of server1.com to the new server IP, so even if the client uses the old URL, it will go to the new server. Make sure to lower the TTL value for faster effect..0 -
Hello, The easiest approach is to simply update the "A" record for "server1.tld" to point to the new server's IP address. Otherwise, you could try implementing a custom workaround using firewall rules like the one referenced on the following thread: Help doing a port forwarding. Thank you. 0 -
thank you for your replay, after updating DNS zone, now server1.com point to the new IP (server2.com). The domain server1.com will expire after 5 months, so we have time to call customers to use directly server2.com. Problem solved. Thank you, 0 -
Hello, I'm glad to see that helped. Thank you for updating us with the outcome. 0
