Migrating CloudLinux 6 to 8
Hi
I have got below warning in my WHM login.
cPanel & WHM version 110 will be the last version that supports CloudLinux™ 6. Support for version 110 will end June 30, 2024. We encourage you to migrate to a server running AlmaLinux 8, Rocky Linux 8, or CloudLinux™ 8 before June 30, 2024. For more information, read our cPanel Deprecation Plan documentation.
1. Wondering if cPanel can help us with migration or this is something we need to do ourselves.
2. If we need to do migration ourselves, what are the steps to be followed please?
3. We have Websites as well as DNS only domains hosted in our cPanel (with DNS cluster), what are the things need to be considered while migration of DNS.
If you can please answer to my questions above, that would be very helpful.

Hey there! I'll answer these in order to ensure I don't miss anything:
1 - Since the system is new enough to work with our migration tools, this isn't something that would fall under our supported migrations. Details on that can be found here: https://docs.cpanel.net/knowledge-base/technical-support-services/cpanel-migration-services-and-guides/
2 - The only real option is to create a new server and perform a traditional migration with the Transfer Tool: https://docs.cpanel.net/whm/transfers/transfer-tool
3 - It depends how you want to handle the changes. cPanel has the Live Transfer option (https://docs.cpanel.net/whm/transfers/transfer-tool/#live-transfer) which proxies the sites over from the old server to the new even before there are DNS changes. Typically I would recommend removing the server from the cluster to avoid any odd DNS duplication during the transfer process.
