Backup folder in different storage?
Hi good day, we have 2 storage disk in our server and we want all back files save on the secondary storage and not in the primary storage.
Can I point the path folder on the 2nd storage? Will this will not affect if its not in the primary storage?
We are doing this process due to our primary storage is SSD and has limit capacity and our secondary storage is a sata hdd which has more capacity, since it's for backup only we want this kind of arrangement in our backup files.
TIA

Yep, in fact that's the "preferred method" for local backups. You just need to mount the secondary drive in Linux and then tell cPanel to save the backups to there - this is covered in https://support.cpanel.net/hc/en-us/articles/1500012309642-How-to-use-the-automount-feature-with-cPanel-backups .
