Symlink
Detailed description of the issue
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So last night, I ran this command "yum -y update" and rebooted the server per a cpanel email I received.
This morning I ran the Security Advisor in WHM and now see the following error:
_____________________________
Kernel does not support the prevention of symlink ownership attacks.
You do not appear to have any symlink protection enabled through a properly patched kernel on this server, which provides additional protections beyond those solutions employed in userland. Please review the documentation to learn how to apply this protection.

I read the documentation and it's a bit confusing to me, as I am paying for KernalCare on my server.
Can you please advise on what needs to be done?
Thanks in advance,
-Joe

Hey there! If you just performed a recent updated, it's possible that KernelCare isn't including that version just yet.
You can use the tool at https://patches.kernelcare.com/ to check if your specific Kernel is included in their patching system.

So it looks like I do not have the ability to open a ticket, or, the ability to look at the previous tickets I've opened.
Is this correct? Or am I looking in the wrong place?

I can't say for sure - it would all be inside our support portal but if your account isn't working please email cs@cpanel.net so we can look into that.
