Want to clone a DNS-Only node
Hello everyone,
I'm looking to do some testing on our DNSOnly nodes to make sure that when I attach a plesk node to them it won't screw things up. So I cloned a DNSOnly node and kept it on a local network with no gateway (to not interfere with the production nodes).
I'm unable to get cPanel access since the license is invalid. How am I able to get an offline DNSonly license for the purpose of testing?
Thanks!

Due to the way cPanel licensing works, the machine will need internet access to contact/authenticate against cPanel's servers. The good news is that the outbound IP addresses can be found via https://support.cpanel.net/hc/en-us/articles/360060084393-What-cPanel-IPs-do-my-cPanel-servers-need-to-connect-to and, ideally, the server also needs inbound access on any of the 5 ports listed on https://docs.cpanel.net/knowledge-base/general-systems-administration/the-license-callback-mechanism/ from the netblocks listed on that page - so it is reasonably easy to setup a VM/machine behind a NAT with a mostly closed firewall.
The drawback is you cannot have multiple cPanel machines behind the same "external/public IP address" - so if you wanted to test a cluster setup of 3 DNSOnly machines and a dev-licensed cPanel machine all behind a NAT, that's 4 public IPv4 addresses you will need.
