Installed licensed FileRun using cPanel but get a bunch of characters on screen
Hi there!
I recently installed a licensed version of FileRun on my VPS service (through Contabo) with cPanel and if I go to the URL I get (an example of) the following:
EgX%Äqn?w~Mj@1D*!G7x2e.!ɜ1ې&ee[Y+/rzxqu_L'0'KfU)B&H2_}ϺH#J_QͶ/Ea`|o0-w|JȁC\PE^}Nm-϶"f!NͰ(dG֝Pز֡:"/
It's a full page of the above muck, not sure what's happening - if someone could possible shed some light as to what might be happening that would be much appreciated :)
Cheers,
Luke

I would hazard a guess that it is because FileRun is encoded using the "ionCube Loader" (see https://docs.filerun.com/php_configuration ). You'll need to contact your web host to ask them to enable that loader (which they may not be able to do as it is incompatible with a rival product - Zend Guard - so if that is already being used on the server, it won't be able to be setup).
If you do have root (WHM) access to the VPS, you can install the ionCube loader using Software->EasyApache4. Load your existing configuration, go to "PHP Extensions and select "php81-php-ioncube13"

Hi rbairwell,
Thank you! I appreciate the help here, worked a treat, I used EasyApache to install through WHM. This is purely a hobby for me so I don't know the ins and outs if things go south haha.
