Create a reverse proxy with EasyApache 4
My website is already served by EasyApache 4 listening on ports 80 and 443. I would like to add an Apache Reverse Proxy for SSL-terminating Varnish as described at the below article:
https://plumrocket.com/learn/ssl-varnish-apache
For the beginning, I would like to have the Apache Reverse Proxy listening on port 8443 for HTTPS so as to test my website through the Reverse Proxy, while my website continues to be served by EasyApache 4 listening on ports 80 and 443.
How can I implement that configuration?

Hey there! cPanel doesn't provide any support for Varnish, but we do have Nginx caching available:
https://docs.cpanel.net/knowledge-base/web-services/nginx-with-reverse-proxy/
That doesn't allow for having a custom configuration like what is described at your link, though. You may want to look into our standalone product here, although it is experimental:
https://docs.cpanel.net/knowledge-base/experimental-software/nginx-standalone/
but there will still be customization necessary to get this working. Ultimately, it might be best to reach out to your hosting provider to see if they could configure this service for you outside of the cPanel tools.

Hello,
I have not requested any support for setting up Varnish. I just asked how I could only setup a reverse proxy with EasyApache 4, which is officially included in cPanel software, and supported.
Also, I didn't understand your hint about setting up Nginx as a reverse proxy. If I can setup Apache as a reverse proxy, there is no reason for me to install and activate an additional service such as Nginx.

There is no supported way to setup a reverse proxy with EasyApache 4.
