Altered Packages Found - MySQL

Howdy! I am setting up a new VPS and I had my web host replace MariaDB with MySQL 8. Last night my system sent me the following email. [check_cpanel_pkgs] There are altered Packages on “server.com”. The system detected problems with the following cPanel-provided files that the Packaging System controls: Packages Status Additional Information cpanel-mysql-5.6.51-1.cp1198 Unnecessary If you did not make these changes intentionally, execute the following command as the root user to correct them: /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/check_cpanel_pkgs --fix This notice is the result of a request from “rpmcheck”. The system generated this notice on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at 5:52:36 AM U Any idea what this might mean for my MySQL installation? Thanks!

  Hey there!  This seems like leftover files from that update.  You can run the following command to have the package automatically removed:

  /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/check_cpanel_pkgs --fix
