backup retention config

Is there a way in 2024 to have 4 backups kept on my S3 destination, but only the latest one kept on the server in the /backup folder?

I set it to 1 because my server was running out of space, but all of a sudden I lost all but my latest backup on S3.

  You can't do this with the built in WHM backup, but you could do this with JetBackup.
