transferring users from old disk

Hello,

My server had a problem that forced us to change it, and after installing Fresh OS and transferring the old hard drive to the new server, I need to transfer cPanel users from the old disk to the current one.

The old disk is mounted in /old_disk folder. 

I tried to run this:

for x in `ls -1 /old_disk/var/cpanel/users`; do /scripts/pkgacct $x /backup; done

 

But it returned with this error:

Unable to get user id for user “xxx” Usage: 

 

Any help would be appreciated.

  Sadly this is not as easy. It requires quite a few manual work. Here is a guide to do so (from "Recover your files" part) or if you had backups (cpmove files) you can move them to /backup and restore them from WHM.
