OK to use main shared IP for nameserver IP as well?
I lease my dedicated servers for shared hosting purposes, using my own hostnames / DNS / nameservers. In the past, I've always used dedicated IP addresses for my nameservers such as ns1.example.com and ns2.example.com , but as I'm in the process of migrating to new servers I'm wondering:
Is it acceptable / recommended / not recommended to just use the main shared IPs of the servers as the nameserver IPs as well?
All of my servers, new and old, are in a WHM DNS Cluster (not DNS only - just regular WHM cluster). I'm phasing-out old boxes and migrating users to the new boxes, and of course will need to assign new IP addresses on the new servers for the child nameservers to serve up DNS.
I'm keeping this short and semi-vague for now, in order to see if more details are even necessary to answer this question.
Thanks very much for any opinion / responses!

Hey there! I would guess this is the most common configuration as fewer servers than ever have multiple IP addresses. It'll work just fine :D
