Service SSLs Expired
(this is ljj3 from old forum)
On one server the Service SSL's expired - I missed the warning messages somehow....
I ran checkallsslcerts which gives:
The system will check for the certificate for the “cpanel” service.
The system will attempt to replace the self-signed certificate for the “cpanel” service with a signed certificate from the “Let’s Encrypt™” provider.
The system will attempt to install a certificate for the “cpanel” service from the system SSL storage.
None of the certificates in the system SSL storage were acceptable to use for the “cpanel” service.
The system will attempt to get a new certificate for the domains: servername.domain.net, etc.....
The system failed to validate domain control for the domain “cpanel.servername.domain.net” using the “HTTP” DCV method: 400 urn:ietf:params:acme:error:dns (There was a problem with a DNS query) (DNS problem: NXDOMAIN looking up A for servername.domain.net - check that a DNS record exists for this domain; DNS problem:
etc....
This never used to happen!
What's up???
thx,ljj

Let's focus on the other thread you have opened with your issue to avoid confusion.

Exactly the same problem since switching from Sectigo to Let's Encrypt, with several servers about to expire or with an expired SSL hostname. cPanel offers no solution whatsoever.

I'm glad you found that article!
lm s - does that also fix your situation?

No, unfortunately this does not solve the problem for me. According to that article, I must wait for updates on case EK-185. Is there a problem with the integration with Lets Encrypt?
