SSL Based Sites Are Unresponsive or Very Slow
Good day. I'm experiencing an odd issue that sprang up suddenly. All of our websites that use an SSL certificate are very slow or don't load at all. The few non-SSL sites load up fine. The logs and load reports don't show any major spikes in activity. I disabled CSF to see if that was the culprit, but the SSL sites still didn't respond. Our sites have a mix of AutoSSL and purchased SSLs (Sectigo Limited).
We have a second server that's almost a complete copy of this one that isn't experiencing any of these issues.

I may have solved it. One of the websites was experiencing extreme traffic, even though the Process Manager or logs weren't giving me clues to that happening. I uninstalled and reinstalled the SSL for that site and it seems to have fixed it and all the other SSL sites too.

I'm glad you may have found a solution. If this happens again, I'd recommend running "apachectl status" on the server as that will let you see what Apache is doing in real-time. You can use the following article to help interpret the output from that command:
