CentOS v7.9 cPanel Version 110.0.33 security
Hello
We have client who paid for server in advanced for 2years. Now we can't to upgrade cPanel Version 110.0.33 to 120.0.9, because server is running on CentOS v7.9.
Question: how risky is to keep current OS and cPanel for one more year, because we don't want to get new server only for cPanel upgrade?
P.S. this is dedicated server and running only 1 website, which isn't popular with ~100 visitors per day.

Thank you, I already saw that and I understand that it is better to upgrade, but question is, if we will not upgrade cPanel, then what kind of risk we will have, that somebody will hack our server?

Cpanel major versions offer new features, the important thing is security updates. Cpanel will continue to offer security updates for cpanel 110 version free of charge until the end of July, and then by participating in the els program, you can continue to receive security updates for both cpanel 110 version and centos 7 until 2026.

And if you have console access to the server, using ELevate is not that complex (but make sure you have good backups just in case).
