    Thanks Andrew for your great help my server has been off for a whole week with no one understanding the issue. issue is now solved the server is running well now.

    Well there were a couple of problems here. The system was stuck at Stage 4 due to bad (CentOS 7) repos and it was still running on CentOS 7 kernel. Furthermore yum was corrupted complainng about missing ".so" files. I have copied the missing files over from another server and replaced the repos with the correct ones then I could continue the Elevate process to reinstall the softwares which were removed in the earlier stages. EasyApache profiles were lost so I had to rebuild them from scratch.

    MySQL was broken due to an unfinished upgrade from MySQL 5.7 so I had to install MariaDB 10.6 instead and it came back to life. It was a 3h work but I'm glad all is sorted now :)

    Hey there!  This doesn't seem to be an issue with ELevate but a problem with Yum itself on the system.  Are you able to run the following commands on the server?

    yum clean all
    yum makecache
    yum update

    If so, can you run those and then try ELevate again?

    It's interesting that it's still trying to download anything from there if it is disabled.

    Does "baseos" still show up if you run this command?

    i am wondering if the elevate process was successfully installed its showing when i check the release us almalinux but when i run the status check its saying it failed on stage 4.

    and when i login im getting this notication

    hello i managed to get it working but facing 2 issues

     

    one i cant get mysql to work getting this error i have tried to rempove it and install it again but no change

    Can you try removing or commenting out the "innodb_force_recovery=0" line and then restarting MySQL to see if that changes the behavior?

    Hey Robert,

    So first of all how did you managed to "get it working" as you said after the stage 4 failure? At stage 4 the softwares would be reinstalled by the process using the saved EA profile, MySQL config files etc.. If this stage didn't run due to repo issues and you manually tried to install/bring up services that is a very bad solution and based on the warning after you login as root via SSH this is where you are now.

    So once again if you run this what you get:

    /scripts/elevate-cpanel --log
