WILL E-MAILS BE LOST DURING CPANEL TRANSFER?

I will transfer the cpanel of the institution I work for from the software team we worked with before. Will old e-mails be lost when transferring them to the newly established cpanel account? What should I do to prevent it from getting lost? I would be very happy if you could help me.

  The transfer tool will copy old emails from old server to new server.
  EDIT:
  I am assuming that the cPanel Transfer Tool is used to transfer the account.
