Wrong IP during installation
AnsweredHello.
I have two licenses for two different cpanel ips.
I've been using the first server for a few years and yesterday I installed cpanel on a new server with another IP, but after installation CPANEL automatically took the IP of my other server.
Why does this happen and how can I resolve it?
I tried some routines to change the IP via whm, but I was unsuccessful.
------ Edit -------
The IP on the OS is correct. Only cpanel had the wrong IP

cPanel/WHM can't change the main IP of a server, you have to do that at the OS level. If the IP changed something else did it.

What do you mean by "cpanel took another IP"?
Where do you see that?0 -
For example in this image.
The IP that shows in the support center on WHM is not the IP of my server.

does your server's hostname resolve to the correct IP address?

No, because the IP in WHM is incorrect.
On OS the IP is correct, but on WHM it is not.0 -
Hi,
Usually, this type of issue would be caused by an IP configuration problem. With that said, it might be difficult to detect the configuration problem without access to the server. I recommend opening a ticket so our team can take a closer look.

Thanks.
I opened a ticket #95330574. But I'm still waiting for a response.

I do see we've provided some advice on the ticket, but so far we have not been able to access the server.

In fact, the server IP is correct, but even so, during installation, cpanel took another IP
