Hey there!  I'll go through and answer these in order to make sure I don't miss anything.

1 - I'm not sure I understand.  Are you talking about Host Access Control?  If so, that page has a different layout in AlmaLinux 8: https://docs.cpanel.net/whm/security-center/host-access-control/#host-access-control-for-almalinux-rocky-linux-and-cloudlinux

2 - You can remove these manually from the /etc/cpanel/ea4/profiles/ directory on the system.

3 - There is no way to install those older PHP versions without running the CloudLinux operating system.  https://support.cpanel.net/hc/en-us/articles/4412144152855-What-versions-of-PHP-does-cPanel-support

    Hi!

Do you mean the Host Access Control works with the files /etc/hosts.allow /etc/hosts.deny as happened with the previous CentOS?.  I'm confused because I cannot find the tcp_wrappers packet installed in AlmaLinux. Please, help to clarify this point.

Really is there no whatever possibility to use php5.6?. We have some customers with their old  beloved websites and they don't know how to rewrite the code. Their websites are secure without giving problems, although they have no knowledge to upgrade.  No other way then?

    thanks so much

Yes, there is no way to use PHP 5.6 without CloudLinux.

I'm not entirely sure what you're trying to do regarding the tcpwrappers.  Can you get me more details on that?

just I try to clarify if still I can use my previous files /etc/hosts.deny and /etc/hosts.deny.

I had services and IPs defined into these files.

Sure, there's no reason you can't use those files on the server.

it doesn't work.  The "whostmgrd : ALL : deny" doesn't have any effect and is possible the login in WHM

I believed some process existed to reuse these tcp_wrappers files in AlmaLinux

Is it possible migrating the server to Rocky Linux or Ubuntu in where it seems this is supported?

Correct, that formatting no longer works, and RockyLinux behaves the same way.  It would seem odd to me to try and switch distros for this issue.

Details on how that gets handled in version 8 can be found at this specific section of our docs:
