Deletion of Forwarded emails
I have searched here but not found a definitive answer, that makes sense, so grumpy old brit needs help.
I want to forward emails from a just host account to a btinternet address.
So emails sent to
grumpybrit@ hosted_on_JH.com are forwarded to grumpybrit @ btinternet.com.
That bit is fine but I dont want to keep a copy on that JustHosted account. With Gmail you tick one box, done, but cannot find a way to do this with JH.
Thanks
David

Delete the mailbox grumpybrit@ hosted_on_JH.com and keep the forwarder.
You don't need a mailbox to forward emails.0 -
Many thanks for your prompt response.
Logged in to cPanel, I see all addresses including the one with forwarding in place but I cannot see a way of deleting the mailbox, only the whole address.
Can you explain what I am missing.
Thanks
David

You click on the "Manage" button and at bottom of the next page you see "DELETE EMAIL ACCOUNT"

I had seen that ...and just tested on test@ address which has forwarding. The whole of test@ is deleted, lock stock and whatever.
Once deleted, test@ is gone from cPanel.
Thanks

As an update despite test@ being deleted you are spot on and emails are forwarded.
The address is not shown in email accounts BUT when forwarders are displayed the address is there. Confusing but hey ho🍷🍷🍷
Thanks for your help....and patience.
David
