Transfer Tool issue
AnsweredI am in the process of changing web hosts. 5 domains to be transferred. 2 done already by web host. Trying it myself on one of last 3. When I try, I get the following error:
Failed to establish session and parse security token: 599 Internal Exception (SSL connection failed for 66.199.224.4 [note: IP of WHM on old host]: hostname verification failed ) at /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/perl/536/cpanel-lib/cPanel/PublicAPI.pm line 526.
Yesterday prior to this, I did run Security Advisor via WHM on new web host and it flagged some security alerts which I corrected. Cannot see how this would impact, but thought maybe I should mention.

Looks like a bad password/key or you got blocked from the source server.

Password is correct. Regarding the other, how was I blocked, but not web host when doing same thing albeit with different domain on same server?

It was just a guess. If you are running CSF or CPHULK and you had failed logins, you can get blocked.

Thanks again, but been no failed logins.

If you use Live Transfer, web and email traffic is redirected from the old server to the new server.
Because of that you should ignore the old server's IP address in the new server's firewall. If you don't the old server's IP may get blocked in the new server.

Resolved. I temporarily opened all to 'allow' for SSHD via WHM :: Hosts Allowed, and used domain name instead of IP. Just had to use anydomain.com on server using port 22, and it worked perfectly.
