Was caused by a licensing issue, the reply I got said they only had a single person on staff today but were calling others to come and help. That was 4+ hours ago from this post.

They did get my stuff working with an 'emergency' license. Though in billing, its still suspended.

The same thing happened to us, the payment was made automatically at the beginning of this month and it says expired today, both the KernelCare, cPanel/WHM and CloudLinux license, I think it is an error on the part of cPanel and its system.

Same here.  All licenses suspended even though the invoice was paid a few weeks ago.  Ugh.

Same here. All invoices paid and no servers working. Might anyone else have received any updates about a fix for this?

Send an email to cs@cpanel.net . They had my account fixed within 10 minutes.

Thanks. Have done that, let's see if service is limited to US CST hours only.

I have the same problem. My cPanel/WHM is suspended and everything is paid for.

Parent Service Suspended due to Overdue Addon error. Not sure what it's talking about.

We wrote an email to cs@cpanel.net about this issue and received the following reply today:

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting cPanel!

We apologize for the suspension of your license(s), there was a batch of suspensions ran today that had an unexpected defect, resulting in licenses being suspended incorrectly. We have now unsuspended your affected licenses to restore your operations while we continue to investigate the issue.

Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with.

I opened a support ticket and I can confirm they got onto it within 30 mins or so. Good luck.

We have the same issue on multiple servers. They also added an emergency license, which seemed to work at the beginning, but doesn't work anymore.

The licensing issue was only for logging into WHM and managing the server, but right now, all the hosted sites are offline on all servers. I'm trying to get in contact with cPanel.

+1 for the LiteSpeed license issue! Waiting on support...

Suggest buying a LiteSpeed license either directly from LiteSpeed or somewhere like LicensePal (cheaper). Both companies at least seem to be able to run their own billing systems without screwing them up every few months, and it will get you back up and running while cPanel "support" continue to ignore your tickets.

Then go to WHM -> LiteSpeed -> Change License.

Buying and activating the LiteSpeed license did the trick. Thank you for that! How can I cancel my litespeed license subscription at cPanel? Even their store.cpanel.net is confusing and slow.

    Thank you

Customer support team did a temp fix for me. Apparently they will do some permanent fix on Monday.

I only use Jetbackup as a paid addon to my cPanel, I'm wondering if that had something to do with it.

The only other thing it could be is that I'm still using centos as my OS, which currently I'm being charged extra for due to its end of service. Apparently they forgot to charge me extra for it last month which they were going to fix.

Is this something similar with you guys?

I've talked to other that use cPanel -- without any issues.  Perhaps it was related to users who have a specific add-on?  I use JetBackup too.  Anyone else?

+1. This is frusturating. Had 150 sites go down due to this. Just emailed instead of the ticket, which I was still waiting on a reply for.

Hey everyone - yes, there was an issue with the licensing system specifically related to addons.  If you're still seeing issues please create a ticket or email cs@cpanel.net and we'll get it fixed!
