Hello, we deployed new virtual servers since our old needed a centos upgrade.

But since the migration we have issues reaching some recipients with the error
temporarily rejected connection in "connect" ACL: "Host is ratelimited (1.5/1h max:1.2)"

this didnt happen in the prior servers. Ip is healthy and not blacklisted

we can send to mayor providers such as gmail/hotmail

cant figure out what the cuprit is. We are told we need to contact the recipients and ask them to tweak their configuration which is almost impossible. any clues? thanks so much

  Hey there!  It sounds like the new IP address may not have the best reputation at some mail servers.  Since that error is coming from a remote server, there really isn't much you can do about it on your side.

  Just because the IP doesn't show up in any of the major blacklists, which can be checked at https://mxtoolbox.com/blacklists.aspx, doesn't mean that smaller providers may not have it on a specific black or graylist.

  thank you, we checked mxtoolbox as well as others and the IP seems healthy.

  we found one in minor lists
