Roundcube 2FA - IMAP access?

I there a way to add 2FA for IMAP authentication? Or disable IMAP protocol for one domain or account.

  Hey there!  Yes, we do have 2FA available for the webmail interface as outlined here:

  https://support.cpanel.net/hc/en-us/articles/360051868994-Can-I-enable-two-factor-authentication-2FA-for-webmail

  but not for IMAP itself.  There wouldn't be a way to disable the protocol for just one cPanel account as IMAP is a daemon that runs server-wide.

  What specific issues are you running into?  If I have more details maybe I could come up with a suitable workaround.

  Emails users failing to phishing attacks and their passwords getting compromised.

  Having 2FA only to Webmail seems pointless in this case, since attacker can still get access to email account via IMAP.

  Gotcha - that makes sense.  Could you submit a feature request for that over at features.cpanel.net and I'll make sure that gets brought up with our email team?
