Are new email node features out of the planning picture?
We've been waiting years for your email node to support Jetbackup and 3rd party SPAM plugins.
For my agency, it seems like the email node server feature expansions are DOA.
Are they any plans at all to add these much needed features to the email node or should we just move on and forget about that product?

Hey hey! I'm not sure I would go as far as "DOA" but more of a "we're working on it" - here's the current item from our features site:
https://features.cpanel.net/c/80-offload-mail-services-from-cpanel-server
I did send this feedback to the manager of the email team, but that new features would essentially be an expanded and improved mail node.
That's the most information I have at this point. I do believe it's something we want to happen, but there's no ETA or timeline or feature list or anything like that at this point.

Thanks and glad you passed this along. Like I stated earlier, it's been years and there's been no marked improvement on adding new features of note to the mail node.
This is why we're unfortuneately going to have to skip it and stick with the mail current setup on the main cPanel servers. Sad, we had high hopes with this product but it seems to be stuck in the mud - a step child product. ;)

Oh for sure - I get those feelings. I'd like to see this pick up some steam as well as I really think it would be useful for a LOT of users.

Definitely! We've been migrating O365 and Google customers off those platforms onto cPanel and this product needs a LOT more love so that we can pull in additional revenue streams instead of being stuck in 2009 cPanel email services mode LOL
We've searched for years for a drop-in (plugin) replacement for cPanel email services with no luck. Missed opportunities for shared hosters/agencies.
