    Can confirm the behavior.

We just had two seperate calls from users and we can reproduce it on all accounts.
When navigating back from the first login the url changes to /cpsess*/webmail/jupiter/index.html?mailclient=none

This happens also on system boxes and it happens with newly created domains.

We've experienced the same issue with the redirect to Roundcube no longer working since updating to 122.0.16 across multiple servers.

I've opened a ticket #95368464 - hopefully cPanel will respond quickly as it's causing issues.

Here is some screencapture of the behavior. Alle privacy related data has been blurred can be freely used for example https://go.screenpal.com/watch/cZQFXDVSl5d

Also thank you Jeff for creating a ticket I will refrain from doing so for now no sense in increasing the queue on something they most likely have to patch globally.

cPanel support replied with the following:

The issue described is related to the internal case CPANEL-45883; we have found on the latest upgrade, the automatic RoundCube log-in stopped working
    when 2FA is enabled.

Please review the following article for more information:
Webmail does not log in directly to the inbox

Please follow the article to receive updates when a fix is published for this case.

However we tried disabling two-factor auth completely on one server and this had no affect on the redirect to webmail behavior.

We've asked for an archive copy of the '/usr/local/cpanel/base/webmail/jupiter/' directory from a 120.0.15 install so we can run a diff against it. If anyone still has a server on 120.0.15 we'd appreciate a copy.

We never activated 2FA for any clients on roundcube so this is either unrelated or it is happening in two variants.

Thanks for the reports, all.  We do have that case opened as Jeff mentioned, so the team is on it.  I've reached out to the developers to give this one some priority since it's going to be affecting a lot of users.

    cPRex thanks for your response.

Do you have any update on this? It's generating a number of tickets & complaints.

Is there a method for us to force a downgrade to the stable cPanel 122.0.15 til the bug is fixed?

    Thanks.

As Jeff said, this is a known issue, and a high priority case for our team.  We're working on it now and hopefully the developers will have a fix soon!

The fix was going through testing about 3 hours ago, and then it will get assigned to a build.

I've been told the fix is almost ready and will get released today still.
