Only allow account creation with sub domain

For some reason, we want to block account creation with main domain, let's say domain.tld

 

We use WHMCS to automate cPanel account creation. We want to only create the cPanel account if it's a sub domain, like sub.domain.tld

 

It should not create the cPanel account if it's a main domain.

 

Is it possible to restrict account creation with main domain in cPanel? Customer's can use any domain but it must be a sub domain.

 

This is because our customized service will only work properly with a sub domain name. I hope I was able to explain it correctly, any help on this will be great.

  Hey there!  I don't have any tools on my end that would restrict the server to only creating subdomains.  Is it possible there is a way to detect this on the WHMCS side of things?
