Uninstall imagick to fresh install again?

I'm on Almalinux 9 and I'm trying this https://support.cpanel.net/hc/en-us/articles/360037048673-How-to-Install-ImageMagick-for-EA-PHP and at the end I get 

Last metadata expiration check: 2:17:52 ago on Sat Oct  5 19:56:55 2024.
Package ImageMagick-devel-6.9.13.14-1.el9.x86_64 is already installed.
Dependencies resolved.
Nothing to do.
Complete!

 update

phpinfo confirms that imagick is not present. However when going to “PHP PECL” Installer to list the available modules it doesn't show imagick. I want to properly remove it and install it again.

Any ideas?

  For what version of PHP are you trying to install it?

  php v8.2

  Open /opt/cpanel/ea-php82/root/etc/php.ini
  find line with disable_functions
  and change it (temporarily to
  disable_functions =
  i.e. set it empty, and try installing again.

  wtf wow thank you very much! that did the trick for a reason that I don't understand why... my disable_functions was show_source, system, shell_exec, passthru, exec, popen, proc_open and it was done by me for 2 version of php. On one the imagick was installed properly but not on php v8.2. 

  Anyway this thread is resolved!
