    For what version of PHP are you trying to install it?

    php v8.2

    Open /opt/cpanel/ea-php82/root/etc/php.ini
    find line with disable_functions
    and change it (temporarily to
    disable_functions =
    i.e. set it empty, and try installing again.

    wtf wow thank you very much! that did the trick for a reason that I don't understand why... my disable_functions was show_source, system, shell_exec, passthru, exec, popen, proc_open and it was done by me for 2 version of php. On one the imagick was installed properly but not on php v8.2. 

    Anyway this thread is resolved!
