Request to Install Older PHP Versions in WHM 124.0.9

Dear cPanel Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well.

We are currently using WHM 124.0.9 and have noticed that only PHP versions 8.0 and above are available. However, we need to install PHP 7.4 or an older version for compatibility with some of our applications. Currently, we're using OS AlmaLinux v9.4.0 

Could you please advise on how we can install and enable PHP 7.4, or if there are any steps we need to follow to make it available in our WHM environment?

  That is no longer supported by cPanel.  If you want older versions of PHP you'll need to convert to CloudLinux and look at alt-php/PHP Selector

  It would have been more appropriate to use AlmaLinux 8 instead of AlmaLinux 9, as AlmaLinux 8 supports PHP versions from 7.2 to the latest releases. If you insist on using AlmaLinux 9, you will need to bear the cost of a CloudLinux license to use older PHP versions.
