Delete emails on trash/spam older than x days - Command

Hello,

We've recently enabled "Auto Expunge Trash" and "Auto Expunge Spam" on our servers and added an expiry time of 30 days.

So far, we have not seen WHM delete any email older than 30 days which lies on Spam or Trash folders. We can easily find emails 3-4 years old in both folders on some clients.

1. Why it did not delete the older than 30 days emails as it should have?
2. We'd like a command to run which will forcefully delete all emails on trash and spam older than 30 days. If there is already a cPanel script, please do let us know how we can use it.

  it says:
  "Note that the mail must have been moved into the Trash folder after the Auto Expunge Trash was enabled."

  Any known way to apply this for the Spam folder too?

  Not with this same tool, but you could use the cPanel >> Email Disk Usage tool to manually clean a specific account's spam folder if you needed to.
