Is there a way to disable web site without suspending account?

Hi,

We have a web site that is compromised on our server.  Is there a way to disable the web site without suspending the account?  If we suspend the account the customer can't access their files via cPanel or FTP.  They will need access to their files to fix the infection.

  Hey there!  I suppose it depends on what level of "disabled" you'd like the site to be.  Replacing the index page with a blank index.html would keep the site from being accessible unless people went to a specific URL.

  We ended up moving all the files to a different folder and then put an under construction page in its place.
