CloudLinux Elevate Failed at Step 3 (Litespeed issue?)
Hi,
I'm attempting to use Elevate to update my CloudLinux cPanel Server.
Everything has gone smoothly until step 3. I'm getting the following error:
"Program '/usr/local/lsws/bin/lshttpd' is not an executable absolute path. at /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/elev
At one point, I did use LiteSpeed. However, my understanding is it's been uninstalled. I know for a fact I'm using Apache. I'm also confused because those directories don't even exist. I'm not sure why the Elevate Script has indicated LiteSpeed is present. Any ideas?
/usr/local/lsws DOES exist, but it only contains two folders: conf & logs
Here are the last couple lines prior to the failure:
* 2024-11-23 12:12:19 (10231) [DEBUG] Running 'pre_distro_upgrade' from LiteSpeed component.
* 2024-11-23 12:12:19 (3351) [INFO] LiteSpeed is installed
* 2024-11-23 12:12:19 (8364) [INFO] Sending notification: Failed to update to CloudLinux 8
* 2024-11-23 12:12:19 (8369) [ERROR] The elevation process failed during stage 3.
Perhaps I can just delete or rename the lsws folder?
Any help would be greatly appreciated as this has currently left the front end of cPanel/WHM entirely down.
Thank you ahead of time!
