Autoresponder - Mail Forwarding Address

Hi,

Can you set up an Autoresponder for an email address that is set up as mail forward only? Or, do you have to have a mailbox setup in order for the Autoresponder to work?  Thank you.

  Hey there!  You can create an Autoresponder for a mail account that doesn't have a mailbox, and this works for a forwarder as well - the Autoresponder doesn't know what type of address it is responding to.
