what will happen if I migrate old accounts to new plans?

On WHM,

1. When I created a client account, I forgot to set the setting at 5000mb. and left it at 'unlimited', it is currently using 6672.71 MB. What will happen if I change the quota now at 5000mb?

2. When I started using WHM I didn't know what I was doing so I created plans I copied from existing hosts. I put my clients on those plans. 

Over time I made new plans and put new clients on these.

I now want to delete those old plans and migrate the old clients to these new plans.

What will happen to the old accounts if the newer plans have smaller bandwidth or disk space than the old ones? Or larger for that matter? Also will this reflect on WHMCS automatically or do I need to do this one by one? Do I make these changes on WHM or on WHMCS?

  if an account is exceeding bandwidth limit it will be suspended, if an account is exceeding disk quota it's not suspended, but it's not fully functional, for example it's not able to receive emails.
