cPanel Monetizer or Partner Value-added Feature: Server Monitoring Lite (360monitoring)

First I saw the new option, "Server Monitoring."

I was thinking that back in the day, before the buyout and fee increases started, cPanel would have promoted this as a new, free, value-added feature for cPanel.

"This feature is intended to help you manage your cPanel server more effectively, attract more clients, and enhance the reputation of cPanel as the best control panel available!"—Right?

I still felt optimistic before signing up (or maybe more nostalgic) that this would be one of the awesome value-added feature upgrades we receive every year as part of our fee increase.

But then my heart sank minutes after signing up...
yet another way to monetize the customers of cPanel partners?

The skinny.
Nice new option called "Server Monitoring - Lite"
14 day free trial and then pay $4.99/month per server.

Icing on the cake?
"After the two-week trial, you receive the Lite plan, which allows you to monitor one server and five websites in ten-minute intervals with email alerts."
