Force Domains HTTPS inherited setting
Hi,
I am not sure i understand domain force https inherited functionality. For example lets say i have only one account for the whole server. So the main domain is example.com and i set that to force https. Does that mean that all other domains inherit that value?
If so then that means its not possible to have the main domain as forced https and one of the other domains as not forced?

Does this document:

hi quietFinn,
Thanks for the reply and link :)
Yeah i read that this morning, this section here sort of dances around the answer being ambiguous.
will inherit their redirection status from their parent domain. No longer will a manual .htaccess redirect, plugin, or Apache configuration update be required. Now, an end-user can toggle a switch to redirect visitors to the secured version of your sites!
I do understand that we dont have to do the redirect code manually in the htaccess anymore. However, what if one site has a cert and the other site does not? Is it all or nothing? It does not answer that question. So how does the inheritance work?

"All domains with valid SSL certificates can have redirection enabled. Aliases (historically called Parked Domains) will inherit their redirection status from their parent domain."
If a domain does not have valid SSL certificate it can't have redirection enabled, but domain(s) with valid SSL certificate can.
Only alias domains inherit their redirection status from their parent domain.
