So the other forum post appears to be more about the business closing down rather than discussions about suitable alternatives.

I guess what ardyan arnowo and I guess myself are interested in is what are some suitable product alternatives that others have used and recommend.

I've done a little research and have found the following products may be suitable with GUI, however it would be great if others have experience with them to weigh in.

Imunify360 seems to be well known but is by far the most expensive alternate.

OpsShield cPGuard seems to be the cheapest and apparently is lightweight but I've not heard of them.

BitNinja Security again I dont know anything about the product or company.

It looks like Imunify360 will swoop up most of the servers. No more free rides :(

Someone has stepped up and is continuing CSF development: https://docs.configserver.dev/

Their team has already released a couple of small updates and just finished switching the auto-updating functionality over to their own update servers. I think this is a really promising sign and I'll likely be continuing to use this version of CSF on all of my servers. Yay for open source/community efforts!

    Hello Jeff,

that sounds very interesting. Is there an easy way to switch to the new version, or do I have to uninstall the old one (version 14.24) and then install the dependensies and the new version?

Or how can I change the auto update to there own servers?

Be carreful with immunify because it use Wazuh, on my server Wazuh is used to monitor and cannot be used twice (immunfy forked it) and so Immunify is not compatible with everyone, it is a big big problem.

Yeah, I feel that's where CloudLinux has a hard time. They forget that we are trying to save time, not have a bunch of flashy features. cPanel's in the same boat. That's where CSF shined. Simple and effective.

I've moved over to use cPGuard. After a few hickups with settings all seems great so far and they continue to bugfix and support future versions. The GUI interface is modern and easy to use, they also have Linux terminal commands for those nerds.
