Email Management Capabilities for Administrators in cPanel
Hello, I would like to know if an administrator in cPanel has the ability to delete messages from a user’s email account. Additionally, is it possible for an administrator to view the emails that each user receives in their inbox?

Thank you for your response.
I appreciate the clarification regarding email access. I would also like to ask: is it possible for someone with administrative access to not only view but also delete messages from a user’s mailbox?

I deleted my previous response because you down-voted it. (I'm guessing by accident).
Anyone with access to your cPanel and FTP has the ability to view and delete files on the server, including email messages.

Thank you for your reply, and my apologies for the negative vote earlier — it was a mistake. I’m new here and still learning how to properly post and manage questions. I really appreciate your clear explanation and the time you took to help me.

Thank you again for your assistance.
I would like to clarify that my email account is institutional, and there is an administrator who is responsible for creating and managing these accounts. I have never shared my password with anyone. However, an important email disappeared from my inbox even though I did not delete it myself. At the moment, there is an internal audit taking place to verify whether it is possible that the administrator may have deleted the email for some reason.

You're welcome. I can see that you're new and that you're not a host, so just FYI - I don't work for cPanel, so my comments are not "official advice" at all. I just happened to be reading this forum when you posted. Any server administrator can view the contents of email messages (including Inbox and Sent folders) if the messages are sitting on the server (which is likely if you're using IMAP). Only your organization admins would be able to tell you if one of their team deleted the message, and chances are they won't tell you. Nobody here can help any further.
