Cannot ELevate from CentOS 7 to AlmaLinux 8
AnsweredHello,
I have CentOS 7, cPanel version 110.0.36, no CloudLinux.
I run this command
/scripts/elevate-cpanel --check
And get error
[ERROR] *** Elevation Blocker detected: ***
This installation of cPanel (11.110.0.36) does not appear to be up to date.
Please upgrade cPanel to 11.110.0.81.
Then i run upcp to update cPanel and i was forced to upgrade to version '11.132.0.16'.
After that, i get error
W NOTE: A system upgrade was not possible due to the following blockers:
W [FATAL] - Newer releases of cPanel & WHM are not compatible with your operating system. Upgrade your OS, or use the Update Preferences screen to select a Long-Term Support release for use with your OS. cPanel & WHM 11.118.0.61 supports AlmaLinux 8/9, CloudLinux® 8/9, Rocky Linux™ 8/9, Ubuntu 20/22 only. Please see our OS End of Life policy for more information.
So how can i upgrade to version 11.110.0.81.
Please help me.
Thank you.
