Anti spam where to after mailscanner/configserver closed

Hi All, we haven't used the inbuilt spam assassin for years in favor of using mail scanner as spam assassin never seemed to catch enough.

Now that configserver has closed i want to see any alternatives and see how spam assassin is these days even - does anyone have any feedback how it has improved over the years?

Some users also use spam experts / N-able and one of the problems we used to see was mailscanner would fail SPF for users who has passed through spam experts - we would like to ensure this wouldnt happen with spam assassin / cpanels default build

would appreciate anyone's input.
