LogView alternatives?

I know I'm digging up some old history here, but there was this fantastic little plugin called LogView and it was a quick and easy way to review log files in real time or set period, or even download the entire log file for further analysis from within the WHM interface.

I understand the project was shut down some time ago, but has anyone developed an alternative?
