woke up with 2 servers in this situation, took some time trying to fix mariadb 10.1 till found this thread. downgrade fixed it Hello, Can you downgrade if mariadb is already down?

Indeed, I saw that very thread before it was deleted and it was very helpful, containing the exact command needed to immediately downgrade MariaDB and restore it back to a working state: yum down...

All the above solutions didn't work for me but restarting cpanel service via shell using the script below did! /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/restartsrv_*
