    If you are using O365 for that account you can always redirect from primary@domain.com to primary@domain.onmicrosoft.com and that should do the trick, no DNS entry neded for this workarround.

    Yes, that's what raises my concern, because there was no filter before the issue was acknowledged, meaning it's not controlled and can tell where it comes from
