Do you have access to Manage AutoSSL icon in reseller WHM? If not, you will have to contact the hosting provider to check the logs.

An addon creates a subdomain and addon domain basically is a parked domain on that subdomain. I believe you cannot create the same addon in the server.

The best way to access a temporary url is by editing the hosts file on your local machine, to bypass the dns.

Did you check the Manage Service SSL Certificates in WHM.

Are you sure that ssh service is running on port 22? Please contact your hosting provider and ask whether you have shell access and confirm the ssh port number.
