I see /usr/sbin/mysqld and /usr/bin/mysqld_safe run together in top I restarted mysql service many time, but i see this two service run together again. is it normal ans safe?

Remote mysql server upgrade

I using remote mysql server on cpanel, i want to upgrade from 5.0 to the last stable and supported version. Because of remote mysql server, i cant updrade with WHM. What i should do?
